Apple’s low-cost 6.1-inch iPhone might be launched in two separate models, among them, one will be in single SIM and another in Dual-SIM. Price of the dual-SIM phone will be approx. US$ 650 to US$ 750. Whereas, single SIM model models will be inexpensive, which will be offered at US$ 550 to US$ 650. These are expected prices, as the company has not declared it. Prospective prices for the two OLED iPhones Apple plans to introduce in 2018, but those were expensive. Dual-SIM standby feature in previous notes, many claimed that new three devices will be launched with the expected features. Both the 6.5-inch and 6.1-inch device will support DSDS, whereas, the 5.8-inch iPhone might not be supportive to DSDS.
Many analysts said that Apple will be using a modem of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X20 for LTE with Intel’s XMM 7560. DSDS devices will be supportive to LTE+LTE connections which will offer easy use of two SIM cards. A dual-SIM feature will offer ease for users to switch SIMs. It will gain attention than other features of the phones. Apple has started a gossip to introduce three iPhones models in 2018 such as 6.1-inch LCD model outlined and 5.8-inch will be OLED as a sort of second-gen iPhone X. Additionally, 6.5-inch OLED model will be named as iPhone X Plus.
It is in rumors that within three to five weeks, the bulk production of 6.1-inch LCD iPhone will be started, and the company will start the production of OLED models as they have planned recently. Apple’s supply chain will observe a robust growth in the fourth-quarter and second-quarter. Low price and DSDS feature of 6.1-inch iPhone, it is expected to witness the boost in the shipments and the chart breaking the sale of the product.
It is also expected that 6.5-inch OLED and 6.1-inch LCD will be the most famous devices of the year, while consumers will express the least interest in 5.8-inch model owing to its higher price tag and smaller screen.
